A decade that has brought about a star-studded wedding to a global sports star, extensive environmental reform and of course, a set of beautiful baby twins, is something certainly worth honouring.

There has been much to celebrate over the Grimaldi family’s 718-year reign, but the arrival of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques seven months ago is undoubtedly one of the highlights as the royals look to the future.

This weekend  SAS Prince Albert II will mark his ten years on the throne by hosting a whole range of activities for the people of Monaco.

Saturday 11 July

The 57-year-old Prince will kick off proceedings this weekend with a sumptuous cocktail party for his extended Monegasque family.  The Sovereign Prince and HSH Princess Charlene Monaco will host an open-air cocktail party in the Palace Square from 16:00 to 19:00, featuring what is set to be world’s largest fougasse pastry. A balcony appearance from the Prince and other high profile members of the Grimaldi family will be followed by music from  Monegasque singer Olivia Dorato, percussionists Dulumba and the Miss America group.

Sunday 12 July

If you’ve still got enough energy left to carry on the celebrations, Sunday will see a huge concert take place in the Palace Square for Monegasques and Principality residents. Doors open at 18:30 and the party will feature Lemar and Justin Caldwell, before headline act, Robbie Williams, takes to the stage at 22:00.
