School holiday activities to keep the kids entertained

Following what at times can feel like a never-ending sentence, the school holidays will soon be coming to a close.

If you’ve run out of ideas for how to keep the kids out of mischief, check out the ideas below to restore harmony for the remainder of the holidays!

SeAdventures at Monaco Yacht Club

If your children are keen to improve their sea legs, head down to the Yacht Club for one of their renowned sailing courses. Children aged from 6-14 can gain a better understanding of the maritime environment with one of three tailored courses.

Mousaillons 6-7 years 09:30-12:30: Games and sailing for kids €220  per week

Matelots 8-12 years All day: Sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and a visit to the Oceanographic Museum from €220-360 per week

The Summer Camp 12+ All day: Sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, a visit to the Oceanographic Museum, canyoning, scuba sailing €440 per week

Monte-Carlo Munchkins Club

Located in the buzzing heart of the Ni Box, the Monte-Carlo Munchkins Club provides entertainment and workshops for children aged 1-8, through a variety of educational mediums. Classes are bi-lingual and range from cookery  to dance along with special school holiday courses. Kids aged 4 and up can attend the club without parental guidance.

Summer Fair at Port Hercule

The ever-transforming space that is Port Hercule gets handed over to the young at heart throughout the summer as a fun-fair stakes its claim over the bustling area. Merry-go-rounds, water zorbing, even a hook-a-duck should you so wish. With climbing frames, go-karts and fast-food galore, there’s enough to keep even the biggest of kids entertained this summer.

Snapper Club

For the more inquisitive children in the Principality, the Oceanographic Museum offers wonderful week-long course to truly educate tomorrow’s generation in the mysteries of the sea. Children aged 8-12 years are invited to dive right into marine life by handling animals, feeding turtles and playing games centred around the ocean and its creatures.

Ecole Bleue Diving School

For the summer months, the Centre of Water Rescue Monaco will be offering diving internships to youngsters keen to hone their skills both in and out of the water. Legendary free-diver Frolla Pierre and his team’s tailored courses offer so much more than diving, by also teaching kids how to respect the marine environment that surrounds them. Children will have the opportunity to learn how to scuba dive, give first aid and perform water rescue. A must for anyone who frequents Larvotto.
