Twelve years after converting the drop goal that won England the 2003 World Cup, Jonny Wilkinson is currently enjoying a world tour celebrating the incredible achievements of his 16-year career.

Having already travelled to London, Dubai and Hong Kong, luckily for us the former Toulon star’s next stop is Monte-Carlo.

Thursday evening will see the Hotel de Paris play host to international celebrities from the worlds of sport and entertainment, as Wilkinson invites friends and colleagues to look back over some of the most glorious moments of his professional career.

Individual tickets cost £495 plus VAT, and include a drinks reception, a four course dinner  and a rugby gift.

For those really wanting to splash out, World Cup tables of ten can be purchased which ensure the best seats in the house, two bottles of champagne and a signed gift by the man himself.

All monies raised by the event will be donated to Wilkinson’s own charity along with The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.  The Jonny Wilkinson Foundation was created by the former Newcastle Falcons star to support the most vulnerable people in society and help them through the challenges they face.

Wilkinson has achieved worldwide success since making his England debut at the age of 18. With the Red Rose, the 36-year-old racked up 1,246 points, winning Six Nations titles and Grand Slams along the way before ending his domestic career with Toulon as a Top 14 champion and double Heineken Cup winner in May 2014.
